Kids Vote!

Scholastic Weekly Environmental Vote
Scholastic is running a weekly vote on environmental topics. Not only can you visit the site and post your vote on the issue, but you can also read all about the environmental issue so you are more informed. The votes from kids everywhere will be tallied and the results posted on Earth Day.

I think the idea of the site and voting are cool but how do you vote? If anyone knows put it down as a comment please! Thanks!

Olive, in this post is a link to the Scholastic Kid's Vote web site. Click the link to go there. The question for the week and the spot for you to click your answer and vote is right on the front page. Give it a minute to load if you need to.

I like this voting thing. It lets you see the results EVERY time!

How great to have you visit our school and our site- the kids will be thrilled!

Another thing I like about seeing the results of the scholastic vote each time you vote on an issue is that you can go back to previous week topics and vote. So, if you miss a week, you can still participate at any time!

Just so you know, I am a member of the club, so don't think I'm not and get excited(sorry). I think the progress on this voting is great! I got here 10 minutes ago and there were 76 votes, now theres 80 votes!! Either we have a lot of people in the club, or there are people here who aren't from the club! Keep up the great work :]

This is an awesome idea! Who found the site? If anyone knows, what is the site? Also how do you put you nick-name on the top of the blog?

The Kids Vote is a Scholastic web site. Kids can vote on environmental issue- express their thoughts. They can view the poll and see how others are voting, and on Earth Day the final results will be posted at this site. Just click the link in the posted message to go to the site.

In response to getting a nickname, when you post a reply, did you see a Nickname box? That is where you enter your nickname, and your reply will post with your nickname, rather than Anonymous. I hope this helps.
