Welcome Students from Evergreen Primary School, Singapore

Welcome to our blog; we hope you will enjoy reading our posts and looking at the links we've found. We also want to invite you to submit responses and comments, along with other links to interesting and helpful sites you've discovered. We're interested in knowing more about you personally and about your interest in the environment and the problem of global warming.

Our state, Tennessee, just had one of the worst outbreaks of tornadoes in the past 70 years; more than 30 people were killed. Many were injured and many buildings were destroyed.

February is very early for tornado activity and it was unusual to have such powerful storms so early in the season. What's the worst type of weather you have in Singapore? Has it been worse than usual in the past few years?

Hello, Faiz! Everyone here in Tennessee is excited to get our first comment from Singapore, and yes, Tennessee is pretty bad right now, as you pointed out. We have robbers and kidnappers and killers and all of those things! I am lucky to have never been hurt. :)

:) Glad things are pretty alright on your site.
Because of our Geographical location, Singapores alright.

Only the small tremors should out neighboring countries be experiencing earthquakes, and floods in certain areas when theres heavy downpour. Think its more of a drainage problem more than anything else. :)

Hi Jorython! Everything is alright in Nashville! On Tuesday, there was a little snowfall. This is to everybody. If we want another snowfall like that, we should reduce the amount of heat in the air. So lets go save the snow!

Hi Singaporians! Im so psyched about you visiting our site. I think we could use excess rubber and melt them in an oven to make bouncy balls! My brother came up with that idea! Oh- If any of you were wondering, I'm NOT Rick Riordan. Im just a HUGE fan. Sorry if you thought I was Rick Riordan. I am Mike.

Subject: What's That Smell in the air?

That is the smell of the emitted gases emitted by our only road transportation item: CARS. Those gases are toxic to me. I hate that smell. Lets rid the Earth of that smell! We're in this together!

Dino thinking green, way to go! I like that kind of thinking! Hope to hear and see more of that attitude! "If just one person does one thing it's one drop of water in a bucket. But if a million people do something thats 1,000,000 drops in a bucket."-Mrs. ElAmri. Hope to see some change going on and I will discuss that at the next meeting.
